Results and reports

Congratulations, you have crated your first project and added a version. Now you want to have look at what the climate change impact is, and how it compares to other versions or to a benchmark.

πŸ“Š Results & Reports: A Visual Guide

Based on the Reduzer workflow, here is a short overview and tutorial on understanding and generating your results and reports.

Overview: Results and Reports

The Results module is your documentation hub, providing both a visual breakdown of your project's performance and the tools to export regulatory documentation. It's designed to track key metrics, benchmark against climate goals, and ensure data is ready for sharing or submission.

Key Output Metrics

Your calculations cover a wide range of environmental indicators, not just carbon:

  • 🌍 Global Warming Potential (GWP): The primary measure of your building's climate impact.
  • ⚑️ Operational Carbon (COβ‚‚e, kWh): Emissions from the energy consumed during the building's use (Phase B6).
  • 🧱 Embodied Carbon (COβ‚‚e): Emissions related to materials and construction.
  • ♻️ Circularity: Metrics based on COβ‚‚, mass, and cost.
  • πŸ“¦ Resource Use: Includes metrics for the use of secondary material (kg) and components for re-use (kg).

Your Workflow: From Viewing to Exporting

πŸ” Step 1: Viewing Results and Benchmarking

  • Check Key Figures: The results figures automatically display your total GWP and other metrics. These adjust based on your selected certification scheme (e.g., TEK17, FutureBuilt).

  • Benchmark Comparison: Instantly see how your project's performance compares to the benchmark set by the selected scheme.

  • Combine Results: For projects with multiple buildings, the system can display the combined results of all versions marked with a ⭐ star.

πŸ“₯ Step 2: Generating Reports and Exports

You have two main ways to download your documentation:

A. Data Export (Excel/CSV)

Use this for detailed analysis and documentation that requires granular, product-by-product data.

  1. Navigate to your version's Material List.
  2. Click the Export to Excel/CSV button.
  3. The downloaded file will contain detailed data for every product and component.

B. Final Report (PDF)

Use this to generate the final, client-ready, or regulatory-compliant documentation.

  1. From your project version page, select the "Report" button.
  2. In the report viewer, click the "Share" button to download the PDF.

⚠️ Troubleshooting: Missing Reports

  • 🚫 Report Button is Gray: This means your project access is set to Viewer status. You must ask the project owner to grant you Editor access to download the final documentation.

  • ❓ Missing Calculations: If results are zero or incomplete, verify that all mandatory fields are filled. For example, if you are calculating concrete using an mΒ² unit, you must manually enter the required thickness.
